Her birthplace was in the city of Los Angeles, on 16 September in 1958 to a mother who worked as an actress, but was unsuccessful in the field and a father who made a living selling automobiles. Jennifer, the second of four kids in her family often accompanied her mother to performances in the theater and was very impressed with her. Jennifer's father and mother split at the age five. Jennifer spent the majority of her life within British Columbia when her mother was able to move there with four children. Jennifer did not have a good education, despite being a gifted kid. As a result of her education at Canada's public schools Jennifer became the object of a lot of bullying. Her interest began to wane in the theater during her high school years. Her mother encouraged her to participate in different roles in productions. She was inspired by her mom to encourage all of the kids in her family to have a passion and love for the art. She immediately took action.
