Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada by her character of Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was just a child. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Early theater work includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony December of that year. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is a variety of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during shooting the final season of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. Her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous online fan base on Facebook and Twitter because of its popularity.
